Outfitted with every option I want, it comes out to about $64K in US dollars. I tend to tick a lot of the option boxes.

well, they build in the VAT on the UK site, so assuming you could get it hear, it would be less.

I'm afraid it's not my area. I'm not one of those bigwigs, you know.

I'd ask you the same thing if you were a janitor.

Big I like to think you're a bigwig.

So just do it.

Or a pretty nice used Ferrari F355 or 456!

Kinja'd!!!

You mean that you can buy a good piece of this sexiness for 65K? For some reason I thought that the 456s were mostly in the 100k territory.

Not in the UK you can't. Not a new one. You can't compare prices between countries directly.

What did you add to it? A Golf?

You should be able to buy two for that price. That is downright insane.

I actually could buy two at that price. I just picked the highest trim level and added pretty much all the options.

That is still insane to me. You could buy a CTS-V for that. Or maybe an M3. Or a loaded C7. That is a metric shit tonne of money for a veedub.

Then don't buy it.

There is a guy in Aus with this. He later added bonnet/hood vents which aren't to my taste, but I'd love it all the same.

Fair enough. I wasnt trying to be a jerk. I am just amazed that you can double the price simply by adding options. Obviously we dont have the Scirocco in the US but I have read about them before. Dont get me wrong; It's a nice car. I am just curious as to what you get for $64k.
